In the 21st century, technological advancements are becoming more and more prevalent in many countries, especially the United States. Technology can be subdivided into multiple categories such as machines, clothes, and vehicles, the main focus of many people being digital technology. In this case I am referring specifically to video games. The topic of overplaying videogames is quite frequently debated between those who believe video games are a waste of time, and the gamers themselves. Competitive games require just as much skill and precision if played on a semi-pro or professional level as sports do. Competitive games give …show more content…
Does it really matter what a family does to make the time spent with each other special? I feel as though people always look upon video games as a waste of time, even if the time spent playing them is with friends and family. I look at it as a better way to use technology than younger generations typically do. Teenagers in the 21st century are basically “plugged in” to their own personal world with their technology around the clock. When technology is used to bring friends and family together, it is being used in the best way. But video games are by no means being used incorrectly when played by an individual alone though. Gaming can often put players in a new reality and objectives that one could only dream of doing
