According to the National Autistic Society, “40 percent of children with autism and 60 percent of children with Asperger’s syndrome have experienced bullying”. Over the years, a considerable amount of attention has been grasped about bullying by the media and public. Many researchers have been trying to understand the whole concept of bullying and why it happens. The majority of researches found that bullying is associated with neighborhood environments and cultural influences.
The World Health Organization (2002) recognized that bullying is a behavior in which it is a physical and intentional use of power towards someone or a group of people. It has also been said that bullying is an act of aggression. When children have nothing to do, they come up with stuff to do and the thing that happens is picking on someone. I think that the thoughts that go through the children’s minds are “I am bored, whom am I going to pick on today?” One solution that I think that would be most effective in schools would be that teachers would get their students and for about 30-45 minutes talk about way to not bullying or hurt others feelings. I think that when the students and teachers interact with each other it will help in some ways. Research as proven that children react by what they see others doing. If one student is bullying in the group others will follow. If students see other students being nice other students will
