In the past, scientist have been able to observe things such as ocean sediments, tree rings, ice cores, boreholes, glacier lengths, and pollen remains to obverse what could cause climate change (Rye, et. al., 2013). From these studies they have found three natural-induced process that have influenced global climate change which include changes in the Earth 's distance from the sun due a changing orbit (also known as Milankovitch cycles), changes in the Sun 's power and intensity ,and volcanic eruptions (Rye, et. al., 2013). There three factors, are naturally occurring or Non-man made phenomenon in nature that can increase or decrease the global climate. These are the processes that are thought to have been part of the Ice Age and other global climate patterns of a mass scale that have been documented by scientist as having happened of the course of the Earth 's natural …show more content…
While these changes have occurred over a rather long period of time compared to the normal human life span, we are today realizing that the changes taking place are a direct result of human interactions with the ecology of the planet. While there are others that argue against global warming and its existence, there appears to be enough worry about the issue to persuade action from the world 's biggest countries in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emission and work to curb human behavior that may curb the changes. In December of 2015, 195 countries meet at the Paris Climate Conference to sign the first universal climate deal with the overall goal of limiting global warming to below 2 degrees above pre-industrial levels, by reducing emissions through investing in solar and wind power and switching to cleaner energy sources (European Commission, 2016). It is the hope of all the member countries of the agreement that these measures will help curb global warming and ensure the longevity of the Earth 's delicate ecosystem for future
