His work friend lived in an apartment at the time in Baxter Crossing, Chesterfield, so it took him a while to get there, and find his room. Once he found it, he knocked on the door and Ron welcomed into his home that smelled of beer and ham and beans. Ron had talked about earlier in the day how he was planning on brewing his own beer for the game, as well as cooking up a batch of his homemade ham and beans recipe. When Wayne walked into his living room, he was surprised to have seen a small t.v. He remembered wondering why his friend invited him over to watch with him if his t.v. was so small. He thought it was out of place, since this match was a really big match and the t.v. was so small. While Ron was making the ham and beans, and brewing the beer, Wayne was flipping through the channels trying to find the one for the boxing match. Before the match started, he remembered just hanging out with Ron, talking about work and not seeming to care too much about who was betting on who to win. However, he was rooting for Evander Holyfield, because he admires his drive to never give up, Ron, on the other hand, was rooting for Mike Tyson, because of his powerful fights. Wayne remembered Ron telling him to stay quiet during the match and in general, since he lives in an apartment complex and the people beneath him like to complain a lot. Once the match began, it had been a steady, back and forth type of match until the middle of the fight. There was no significant lead from one person over the other. Evander Holyfield had gotten a few good hits on Mike Tyson, including one hit that was claimed to have been an accident which caused a nasty cut in the brow of mike tyson. But nothing too seriously out of the normal or exciting had happened yet.
