The Bible And Our Worldview

I believe that the Bible is inspired by God Himself (2 Tim 3:16). The Bible is God’s administration of the divinely enabled authors as they constructed their thoughts and experiences. The original text of the Bible is perfect and was written over a 1400 year period and had over forty authors. All Scripture is superintended by God and is necessary for equipping Christians to live their lives the way God intended them to (2 Tim 3:16-17). The truth of the Bible should affect our lives and our

Good evening, Wakesha I enjoyed reading your post for this week’s assignment. The biblical worldview does provides guidance to the Christian health administrator in developing willingness and hope as an organizational leader. Wakesha, you stated one of my favorite bible verses in correlation with this week’s discussion board question. You stated, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Romans 8:28 New Living Translation). When an organizational leader use this verse as a way of building hope and willingness within an organization, this teaches their employees that everything whether it is good, bad or ugly, it will be used to promote hope willingness…

I really enjoyed reading your post and certainly agree that biblical worldview integration is more than merely injecting a scripture verse randomly in a lesson. To your point, “relating scripture to real-time events and subject will make the lesson relevant and relatable” (MacCullough M. , 2006). Furthermore, with today’s classrooms being more diverse than ever before, learning about our student’s cultural backgrounds will give insight into their beliefs regarding faith, which will aid in implementing a well-rounded lesson that allows teachers to successfully integrate a biblical worldview seamlessly. While, it may seem easier to accomplish this in Christian schools, along with integrating Biblical worldview into lessons teacher can also integrate…

One way that it is important to recognize that my worldview influences my desires is that if my worldview is flawed, I may commit illicit acts while believing that my actions are justifiable. For instance, if my worldview includes an appreciation for polygamy, if I were to practice polygamy, I would believe that the practice is appropriate. Conversely, if I held a biblical worldview, specifically that man is to exclusively have one wife, I would strive to solely practice monogamy and reject polygamy. Furthermore, a biblical worldview will influence my desires to increasingly love God, while increasingly hating sin.…

Carter and Levine’s discussion of Literary Form and Historical Facts (p. 60-61) is an interesting view in comparison to many North American Evangelical Christian’s view of the scriptures being the inspired word of God. Often when faced with questions about historical accuracy or apparent contradictions those Christians rely upon scriptures such as John 1:1 “The word was with God and the word was God” meaning that the Bible as we know it today is God’s word and the apparent inconsistencies are not significant.…

In other versions is says, All Scripture is God-Breathed. As we talk about inspiration, Elwell defines inspiration as a supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit upon divinely chosen agents in consequence of which their writings become trustworthy and authoritative. I stated above what II Timothy 3:16 states, so if we are using this definition, we cannot argue that God is the author of scripture. The inspiration of the scripture is how God breathed the thoughts and words into those chosen by Him to write the scriptures.…

The only possible explanation for this is that someone who knew everything that had happened, was happening, and would happen in the future was guiding the pens of its authors. This paper approaches the main components of the Christian worldview, I will summarize its essential elements, as well as analyze and reflect on its significance in my life. Christian Worldview Every person has core values, and lives its life in a certain way. Although there are values and behaviors that are shared by different groups, the way a person behaves strictly relates to its own worldview. In other words, “Worldviews are visions of life as well as ways of life” (Valk, 2012), and these visions of life are reflected in the way a person interacts with others.…

    Bibliology And Inspiration

Timothy 3:16 says that all scripture is breathed out by God or “inspired”. The five theories of Inspiration are Neo-Orthodox, Dictation, Illumination, Limited, and Verbal Plenary. Neo-Orthodox is the belief that the scripture itself is not inspired, but a person may encounter God when reading the scriptures. A strength of this is that the reader can always feel one with God when reading the scriptures, a weakness is that it is not completely true because you cannot encounter God through the scriptures themselves. Dictation is a belief that the whole Bible is God-ordered, that God told every author to write down what he wrote.…
