Each author has a duty to tell a story. It is impossible to remove one's opinion from a novel because your opinion is your voice. Therefore with every story, the author tells a version of their own truth. Through each perspective, the mind is forced to think and examine another's point of view, changing the truth after each person reads it. Different interpretations cause different truths, and each piece of writing can change this. Not all secrets should be shared. Every person make mistakes, and sometimes it is important to keep these mistakes a secret, because if they are shared they may hurt people. Knowledge is power, so why should one person be able to have all the knowledge in the world, and therefore unlimited power? While this may annoy many interviewers, I do not want to influence someone's interpretation of my own writing. My truth is not the whole truth, and I believe every man has a duty to himself to go and find the whole truth. I think the truth is very opinionated, and everyone should form their own opinion first.
