Endurance can be accomplished by playing a simple game of tag as a kid or with aerobic exercises that can be done by adults and kids together. Aerobic exercising can include many things like walking, jogging, running, bicycling, playing basketball, ice skating, swimming, playing soccer, and many more fun activities(Gavin). Endurance is important because when you exercise your heart starts pumping faster then when you are at rest so your body is getting more oxygen then usual. So by exercising by aerobic activity regularly and longer periods of time, you are strengthening your heart which improves your heart’s function of getting blood and oxygen to your cells (Gavin). Strength does not have to be done by lifting weights. Strength can be improved by kids climbing the monkey bars at recess or by push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and other toning exercises. Strength is needed to be able to accomplish your daily activities and to be able to maintain physical activity when you get older. It can help keep bone-density and help with your joints. Regular exercise can help prevent arthritis by making your joints and ligaments stronger and when you get older if you have arthritis can help ease the pain. By regularly exercising your blood pressure will lower and improve cholesterol levels (Fitness). Being active also boosts your high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. All of this plays a part in lowering your risk of cardiovascular diseases (The AHA’s Recommendations). Even if you are diagnosed with a heart disease, it is not too late. With heart attack patients that exercise on a daily basis, deaths rates have reduced twenty to twenty-five percent (Myers). Patients with newly diagnosed heart disease are able to improve their expectance of life with regular exercise, also being able to return to daily activities than normal. It is proven that there is a significant amount of deaths and cardiovascular events due to very low levels of physical activity (Myers). An easy breezy way to improve your heart health is to simply start walking for at least thirty minutes a day and work up to higher and more intense times as you go (The AHA’s Recommendations). Physical fitness also can help reduce your risk of breast, colon, lung, and endometrial cancer. Research has even shown that most cancer survivors have a better outlook on life exercising regularly (Trim Your Cancer). Also, when cancer patients are taking chemo, exercise is proven to help lessen nausea, lessen symptoms of tiredness, and improve blood flow to their legs which lowers the risk of blood
