Military Police ‘MPs.’ The U.S Coast Guard in itself is a law enforcement agency. The Army, Marine, and Navy all have their own type of a police system. The Army has the most iconic police force called Military Police or like I said MPs. The Marines have what they call ‘Provost Marshal’s Office or Law Enforcement Battalions or simply “Field Mps.” The U.S Navy also has their Masters-at-Arms or MAs. Even the Air Force as them they are called “Air Force Security Forces” they were formally known as Air Police and Security Police. MPs are use in security for convoys, mounted and dismounted patrols, Military Working Dog operations and prisoner handling. Superpower. After 9-11 1,400,000 Americans are in active duty. 3 of 4 active duty members are stationed on U.S soil. We have stationed U.S soldiers every where including Germany, Japan, South Korea, East Asia, Saudi Arabia and in the middle east. In 1789 the Army was only 718 men, after 1897 there were fewer than 50,000 active troops. The Pattons were produced during 1960 to 1983, the first war it saw was the Gulf War, the reason it was not seen in the Vietnam war was because the Patton is a heavy tank (48 tons) so it would have bogged down in the swamps of Vietnam.
The Abrams was first built in 1978. It has 1,500 horsepower and a top speed of 42 mph, this tank can go from 0 to 20 mph in 7.2 secs. It has two 7.62 mm machine guns, and a 50 cal machine gun. The turret on this 70 ton beast is a whooping 120mm from the turret mantlet. It also has not one but six periscopes giving it 360 degrees of view.
The Stryker is a light armored truck that can get up to 60 mph and can go 310 miles before a refuel. It can be equipped with guided missiles, medical unit, fire support and the list goes on for this incredible 8 wheeled truck. This truck is only 38 thousand pounds light enough for a C-130 to carry it to the target.
