Military Police ‘MPs.’ The U.S Coast Guard in itself is a law enforcement agency. The Army, Marine, and Navy all have their own type of a police system. The Army has the most iconic police force called Military Police or like I said MPs. The Marines have what they call ‘Provost Marshal’s Office or Law Enforcement Battalions or simply “Field Mps.” The U.S Navy also has their Masters-at-Arms or MAs. Even the Air Force as them they are called “Air Force Security Forces” they were formally known as Air Police and Security Police. MPs are use in security for convoys, mounted and dismounted patrols, Military Working Dog operations and prisoner handling. The U.S Army Police Corps was put together September 26 1941 and are still

The Pattons were produced during 1960 to 1983, the first war it saw was the Gulf War, the reason it was not seen in the Vietnam war was because the Patton is a heavy tank (48 tons) so it would have bogged down in the swamps of Vietnam.
The Abrams was first built in 1978. It has 1,500 horsepower and a top speed of 42 mph, this tank can go from 0 to 20 mph in 7.2 secs. It has two 7.62 mm machine guns, and a 50 cal machine gun. The turret on this 70 ton beast is a whooping 120mm from the turret mantlet. It also has not one but six periscopes giving it 360 degrees of view.
The Stryker is a light armored truck that can get up to 60 mph and can go 310 miles before a refuel. It can be equipped with guided missiles, medical unit, fire support and the list goes on for this incredible 8 wheeled truck. This truck is only 38 thousand pounds light enough for a C-130 to carry it to the target.

Near the end of the Vietnam War, the army was using the new TVS-3 searchlight, which could illuminate a position up to 20 miles away. The Army decided that the use of searchlights by the Air Defense Artillery was over after the Vietnam War. The Army’s use of night vision devices during the dark of night outweighed the ability to illuminate the enemy or battlefield (Air Defense Artillery Museum, 2017). During the conflict, the United States also used an Air Defense Artillery platform called the M42 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun (Duster). The creation of the M42 Duster in the 1950s was to protect maneuver forces from low-level aircraft.…

The U.S. Army had been under a magnifying glass since the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a result, the Secretary of the Army and the Army Chief of Staff gave directives that the Commanding General of the Training and Doctrine Command lead a review of the Army as a profession from changes that had taken place since the beginning of the wars. The Army as a Profession of Arms is still not defined concretely. My perception of the Army as a Profession of Arms is that we are citizens, volunteers, trained to eliminate the enemy, and entrusted with a moral ethic and duty to serve and protect the rest of the populous of our great nation. We, as volunteers in our profession, have answered a calling that we are committed to something greater and…

Did you know that the state of Virginia received just over 2000 weapons, consisting mostly of assault rifles? States like Tennessee have twice the amount and have roughly 900 vehicles, all from the military as well (LESO 1033 Program 2015). This may not seem like a lot; however, this information is part of a larger debate on whether the Federal government should continue militarizing American Law Enforcement by giving them this equipment. Many wonder how militarization started; however, before people understand that, they must understand what militarization really means. When people describe the militarization of police, they usually think that all of the officers have assault weapons, grenade launchers, and other very powerful equipment.…
