What is Enlightenment? The Enlightenment is the time in the history of western thought and culture, stretching roughly from the mid-decades of the seventeenth century through the eighteenth century, characterized by dramatic revolutions in science, philosophy, society and politics; The Age of Enlightenment was a time when there was a major movement involving Western Europe . The Albany Plan of Union is something that was brought forward in 1754 in Massachusetts, by Mr. Shirley and also Benjamin Franklin. It was created to manage Indian affairs and to keep things afloat. The Halfway Covenant was adopted in 1662 by New England’s first estate which they made decisions on church membership. It was permitted for adults who had been baptized because their parents were involved in the church but their children have not been baptized yet. There have been many wars in this time to solve certain problems like King George’s War, King Williams War. During King Georges War New Englanders took the French fortress and not too long later had it returned. During King Williams War reestablished the balance of power. Queen Ann’s War was during 1702 through 1713 which dealt with the Spanish Succession. In the end England received Nova
