Hearing this, puts things into perspective; we as a community cannot depened on the government to solve our problems. The dissolution of these problems must be done from within and outside of the government by us. Watching this film has inspired me to action for I want to make a difference for my community. W.E.B. The mass incarceration of blacks is the modern day form of slavery. It is disheartening to know I, my family and friends walk around with marks on our heads because of our skin color. The present system in which we are governed by has been formed to parallel that of slavery hence why it is impertinent that we, as a whole, continue our fight for equality. In my opinion, this documentary is a must watch for every African American living in this country, especially young people. I for one, hope and pray that the next generation will live not in fear, but
