Now looking towards giving education and raising the awareness needed, the authors both reflect on what has been and what can be done. Cummins says his key message is that “they’re just not successful on their own”, “you need good health education programs that teach the skills needed for buying and cooking healthy foods” (Corapi, 2014). Providing evidence of what was previously done to help these families, Smirl (2011) includes that “the North End Food Security Network [approaches] the food needs of community members through” teaching cooking skills and food budgeting and nutritional education.…

After doing tons of reach on the Boys & Girls Club of America I am convinced that this organization is one that goes through lots of training and preparation to get the right people ready to be apart of the legacy they are creating for our future generations. Being a former member and employee of the company I can say from my personal experience this company will do whatever it takes to make sure they have an eye for finding qualified, caring, professionals that love to work with children to help show these kids that someone cares about their future and is willing to invest time and energy on the job to do it.
