Tetanus Persuasive Speech

There lays a young girl, in a hospital bed on the brink of death from Cephalic Tetanus. Her parents didn’t want get her immunized because they thought that it was a deadly and toxic vaccine. But now that technology is getting better and better the vaccine is more common and it prevents Tetanus way better than it has in the past. Tetanus can be a fatal bacterial disease if not caught in time.
Some people don’t know what tetanus is or how a person gets it. It’s more commonly known as Lockjaw. A simple and easy vaccine can prevent it, but some people don’t believe in getting the vaccine for it and think that it’s useless and won’t prevent tetanus. It may get so bad that it affects breathing, eyesight and muscular ability depending on where the sight of injury is. The biggest way that gives a person a greater chance of getting tetanus is not getting the vaccine. A person may get tetanus from getting dirt or any other unclean substance into a wound or cut.
There are many different ways of getting tetanus, even rare ways. The main ways of getting tetanus are from burns, injuries that result in dead tissue, puncture wounds for example tattoos, surgical wounds, IV drug use, dental infections and animal or insect bite. Although it is rare for people to get tetanus from shots/IV drug use, animal or insect bites and surgery. The biggest case of tetanus are due to unclean wounds or cuts.
