I think that we can all agree that almost any test can be made more useful, but as of right now test are very useful for the military because there are some jobs that require a certain level of intelligence. In my own personal opinion most, intelligence test I have come across have great face value and deemed to be very useful. When we talk about being useful we have to understand that we are not be talking about the test specifically such as the psychometrics but rather how the test can be applied. For example, if I wanted to check for dementia in a mature woman I would want to focus on the Wechsler Memory Scale, not the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression.
