4. Summary of the strengths, needs etc.
Tess’s strengths- Visual arts and creative writing-
Visual arts for Tess has a significant impact on her life. For Tess it helps her express her emotions and feelings. Visual arts increases Tess’s self-worth and self- esteem and for children with Cerebral palsy encourages them to socialise and share personal experiences.
Creative writing for Tess helps her express her creative mind. Like visual arts creative writing for Tess purposely helps her express her feelings, thoughts and emotions.
Tess’s skills- Performing arts, Dance-
Tess is quite a gifted young lady when it comes to dance. Based on her demonstration of her talents she is lucky enough to be accepted into the gifted and talented arts program at her soon to be Secondary college. For Tess, dance is a type of movement therapy or physical therapy that helps develop

For Tess Speed, legibility and endurance when writing are skills that need extra management but due to the brain not being able tell parts of the body how to perform the particular task hand writing skills are affected (Bailey, 2017)
5. Summary action/s to be taken in reference to the strengths and needs.
Actions that will be taken in reference to Tess’s strengths and needs consist of the regular use of Audio, visual and kinesthetic aids in many areas of learning. The use of drama to act out story sequences to help with writing tasks. The use of music and dance to help Tess with mathematical problems and other strands of mathematics. Lots of colourful pens, pencils and paints to help in the areas of improvement and lastly the regular use of group work and group collaboration to encourage better social
