In the 1980’s, the use of technology began to climb. A prime example of technology in that time is the two-way videotex. The videotex was a computer with the capability to send and receive information between two units. The use of the videotex and many other forms of technology created a letterhead for the big boom of technology. However with this big boom came a parade of problems, but there was also some added benefits to technology use. Schools in the 21st century seem to have adapted well with the rise in technology use. For instance, about every classroom in our school has a Promethean board. These boards come together with high-tech software and active touch to allow students a state of the art experience when operating on the these learning
