The Blackhawks have a lot of team talent, including Kane, Panarin, Toews, Seabrook, and Keith, making them extremely good, and they have depth in their roster which allows them to be a top team in their division time and time again. The Stars too have a lot of depth and upfront talent with Benn, Spezza, Seguin, and Klingberg racking up tons of points. The other type of dynasty team is teams with a lot of chemistry, including the Capitals, the Bruins, and the Sharks. Most people would say that the Capitals are a stacked team, but Ovechkin is really the biggest standout on the team. Their real strength lies in their power play, where they know the best shot is Ovechkin so they work on formations to get him open and to let him score. These teams are the worst of the worst, and are almost always near the bottom of the standings. These teams may have done well in the past, but their performance over the last few years has shown that they really are the worst of the worst. This classification includes the Oilers, Sabres, the Maple Leafs, and the Flames. Most of these teams have a lot of young talent that really shows through in their games, but the older guys just aren’t getting it done. The Oilers have Connor McDavid and Taylor Hall scoring a lot of goals, but the goaltending usually isn’t their to back them up. Also, McDavid’s injury at the start of the season caused them to go on a big slide through February. The Sabres have Jack Eichel, Ryan O’reilly, and Rasmus Ristolainen. All these players can score pretty consistent points, but the rest of the team doesn’t, so they don’t get enough wins to stay above almost last
