The case as it relates to VAMTA was initiated to study the application and its use by the medical end-users. The case studies the user perception of the VAMTA application and its performance in the context of Task Technology Fit (TTF).
Medical community strives to have means and tools to gather patients’ data in an efficient and effective way. Often, the problem is that medical data can be disparate and can reside in the systems that are disconnected from one another. VAMTA tries to solve this problem by trying to bring this data together and improving the management of electronic records so that there is some coherence in the data. Reporting is very important because it holds the patient’s health data and and correct and timely availability of report is important in providing the treatment to the patient.
