I think it’s really interesting that you viewed Syncletica withdrawing from society as a sin. I don’t know if I would consider what she did to be a sin but it’s nice to see how other people view things. I completely understand what you’re saying and I really like how you pointed out that even if you do think she committed a sin it was all in the hopes of spreading the Christian religion and teaching other young woman about God.
It’s also interesting how you said that she may have sinned to the people of her community (by running away from society) but that to God she didn’t.
