A band called John Moose released an album in an app that used a type of GPS feature that tracks the location of the person using it. The person could only listen to the songs on the album if they were in a forest. The band decided to make it like that in reference to the songs on the album since the album is about a man who decides to leave society and live in the woods (Waxman). The Rolling Stones listed it as one of the greatest songs of all time in 2011 (Top 40 Charts). In Swedish history two of the world's most famous opera singers were Swedes. They are Jenny Lind, best known for her performance entitled Der Freischütz (or the marksman in english). The other is Birget Nilsen. She is best known for being named for a prize awarded by the Birgit Nilsson foundation every two to three years to a concert opera singer, classical or opera conductor, or an opera company. The first winner of the prize was a Spanish tenor named Placido Domingo, who won 1 million dollars. Additionally in 2014 the National Bank of Sweden put her portrait on the 500 kronor (kronor is swedish currency; 500 kronor is worth 60 USD) (World Book). Overall Swedish artists have made lots of different kinds of music that have been popular all around the world.
