I have volunteered for the BPSOS health fair each October for the past three years. The BPSOS (Boat People SOS) is a nonprofit organization focused on helping refugees. This organization sponsors free health fairs held in Norcross, GA with many health services for anyone who stops by. The services include influenza vaccines, various types of screenings, and physical exams. Growing up near Springfield, I have spent a great deal of time on the ISU campus. My grandma is an alum; my aunt played volleyball for ISU in the 80s and now works in the athletic department; and my cousin is a current presidential scholar.
