In the story, Margot is a news girl adapting to the Venus structure. Since she’s been there it's been nothing but tough roads and windy turns. During her school hours, they make poems and sing about the sun. her poem was read aloud and everyone thought she was lying about the sun. Then again the other kids have never seen the sun. So with everything she did about the sun, they intentionally said mean bad things to her. Soon after getting used to the mean names,she grew more comfortable talking about the sun and the other kids started believing her. Mostly because they noticed how devoted she was to the sun.

They also think it's best to enjoy the light and the warmth that Margot mentioned. Although they didn't ever think of the person that brought all of this into their thoughts. Without Margot, the kids wouldn't know what to think of the sun as it was glaring its ray of sunshine upon them. They wouldn't know what to feel either. In all, without Margot they wouldn't know anything about the sun. They didn't know if what the teachers were telling them was true. They had no clue the beauty in the sun.
In conclusion, Ray bradburry shows in this story is you have to be thankful for the amount of time you have with something that comes and goes. And when he means that, he means the sun in particular.
