As I understand MS is a neurologic degenerative disorder. It is not too common to have hearing loss, but in the cases that it occurs, they come as described in the question. Sudden hearing loss with ringing in the ears, that can resolve by itself as the audiometry shows. In this case, it shows a positive resolution in the sudden hearing loss part with good speech recognition in noise, but the patient still complains he is not hearing well and is using a hearing aid on the left ear with benefit. On the other hand, electrophysiologic tests show a very poor improvement on the left ear and some change on the right ear configuration.
