I believe as long as the reader understands what you are saying then it should not matter. However, some educated people on grammar and language might not understand someone who was not good at grammar or language. But for upcoming generations language and grammar is going to begin to die down and not matter anymore because it changes throughout the years it never stays consistent. In the article “So I'm Like, Who Needs This Grammar Stuff?” professor Kendall Hamilton emphasises how technology is going to grow and change how people read and write in the near future. Larson quotes “Most of the standard grammar rules are based on the lathe base of the english language as interpreted in the 1600’s and 1700’s, but we know now that english is an aggregation from many languages over time, and those latin rules are dead or dying, and seldom can be applied to the vitality of our 21st century english.” Larson compares english to physics by stating that there are no actual rules to grammar like there are in physics.
