The article “Defining Critical Thinking” demonstrates different ways people can interpret the meaning of critical thinking. Critical thinking can be seen as a skill of applying and analyzing something. Being able to respond to different situation and identifying the purpose is a strategy that applies to critical thinking. Processing and retaining information are skills that a critical thinker has. People who are critical thinkers are self conscious and they decide what is right and wrong for them. A trouble people might face in becoming a critical thinker is that sometimes a persons way of seeing things can be bias. For example some people don’t examine the problem, subject, or information thoroughly, so they tend to go with what they are given.
