artifacts and the reasons behind persuasion. In this study, I will explain Burke’s “literature as
equipment for life,” and McGee’s “ideograph” methods and analyze given phenomenon in
section three of this paper.
Keneth Burke considered literature as equipment for living that empowers human being

I would conduct in-depth/detailed interviews of 5 students who are currently in their fifth
year of college. The aim of my work is to study how students reconnected the challenges that
they have had faced to the examples from the inspirational speeches, and how students came up
with a strategy by taking motivation from the speeches while attending the college. This study
will critically evaluate when the inspirational speeches have had an impact on their lives.
This study will also consider the economic, social and cultural circumstances in which
students made their decisions for administrating socio-cultural and economic context in which
students are improving their academic performance.
This study uses a qualitative analysis approach to analyze the individual and cultural
dimensions of using inspirational speeches as equipment for living, approach to understand
