Alexis Warren has gone through a lot in these last few years. She has fought evil spirits, sold her soul and seen death. After three months of seeing Lydia Small’s death, Alexis is yearning for a normal life, and she finally thinks she has it. However, a normal life does not include seeing dead people and being haunted by Lydia’s angry ghost. Alexis notices a lot of girls are going missing and left in their spot is a yellow rose. Alexis is convinced that this is Lydia’s doing. Alexis struggles to protect her friends from her enemy, but she realizes that this ghost is much more powerful than anything she has ever gone against. Besides her supernatural problems, Alexis is dealing with her recent break-up with ex-boyfriend, Carter and new love interest, Jared. I recommend for people to read this book because of how it takes you on an adventure. Alender’s writing style is also another reason why I recommend this book. Alender has also managed to grow and transform her characters from what readers read in her first book. Throughout the series, she has put in plot twists, action, and suspense which has made the reader feel like they are on a roller coaster throughout the book. This book was the perfect way to end this series. It leaves the reader feeling content with how the series ended. In all, this was an engaging book, and it went past all of my expectations. Alender did an impeccable job on how she wrote and finished this
