Angel Burn, one of the three fantasy books of the Angel Series written by L.A. Weatherly. This novel takes place in several different states of the United States. Upon reading the prologue, it gives me some insight about Alex, a 17 year old teen who works as an Angel Killer. He has been doing this for a while ever since he was little and he has no hesitation for completing his assignment until he met someone who was suppose to be his sworn enemy, but things went completely different upon putting first glance at Willow Fields. 16 year old Willow Fields isn’t your average teenage girl who goes shopping or fantasize about boys. She is into tinkering and fixing cars, as well as giving advice to people in their time of need. She is a high school student at Pawtucket High and happens to be a half angel.

One of her friends says that she met an angel and has never felt happier. Willow has given her a reading prior to her encounter with the angel and has warned her to avoid the angel since it was harming her, but she freaked and didn’t listen to her. With her deciding to drop out of school and join the Church of Angels, Willow went to talk to her at the church to talk her out of it. Upon arrival at the church, there she met Alex and couldn’t help but felt a bit attracted to him, but she set that aside since she needs to talk Beth out of joining the Church.
However, when Beth saw her within the crowd, she accused Willow of attempting to destroy the angels. That moment, Alex helped her escape and from that point on, their survival to hide from the angels began there. After I finished reading the book, it is quite satisfying for me. I for one normally don’t read a lot of romance books, but this one just seems to keep me interested in the
