In “Case three”, a non-profit organization Board of Directors is concerned that the behavior of their Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Julie, that was hired 14 months ago is demonstrating elevate controlling behaviors that are causing problems for her staff and with the organization’s funders are starting to question their capabilities to meet the demands of the clients. The Board of Directors feel that the CEO’s behaviors are threatening the effectiveness of the organization and if not resolved the CEO would very likely be fired. Therefore, the Board of Directors solicited the help of an organizational development consultant to intervene at the ED level of the organization. Therefore, the need has been established by the Board of Directors have identified a need for change at the individual level, that if not resolved will have implications for organization’s funding. The consultant that was contacted to support “Case Three” is Organizational Consultant, Bonnie McCreary. …show more content…
