With exercising and an increased response to insulin your blood sugar will decrease. Amount of exercise and sugar level are directly related since strenuous exercise will produce an effect that will last longer.

He might recommend that prior to exercising you adjust the insulin level. He may also feel that it would be best if you just wait a couple of hours after your insulin to begin exercising. Water is always important during exercise programs so drink a lot of water.
