The Suez Crisis Crumbled Britain’s former glory because of their operations with the Israelis, and there own operations, which led to a cultivating aftermath. Britain's former glory is now gone. Can they rise back up to a world superpower again?
The Israeli Operation in Kadesh Sinai
The Israeli early paratrooper landings were thought out and activated carefully as they did not want to let the Enemy Egyptian force know they were there. They cut telephone lines so the communication between Egyptian bases could not happen. There is a story that I know of from an Israeli air force men that flew a P-51 mustang, it is the story of Shahiq Kahili, he was commanded to go out in his P-51 and take down the telephone lines, as the same as some of his friends. On about the last telephone line they came under fire from an anti aircraft truck. So Shahiq and his friends had to take it out and complete their mission before the other Egyptian forces were informed. They successfully completed both tasks and as they were flying back to base they could see the faint outlines of paratroopers in the sky. …show more content…
