Through this assignment, I will address different research methods to solve the miscommunication problem at my workplace. This report will focus how effectively both the primary and the secondary methods of research will be used to get rid of this issue.
Primary Research
As a part of my primary research, I will interview the individuals at the management level and the staff members. I will also observe the working environment i.e. the organizational culture of the company which will assist me in understanding the relationship between the two groups.
Task1: Interview the employees and the high authorities individuals
Interviewing is the best method to analyse the opinions and point of views of the two different groups of people at the workplace. I preferred this method over the surveys because it will involve more open-ended questions and the respondent is more likely to

This report helps in making the comparison between the policies of the two companies, Subway and Tim Hortons. In this research, I looked over the areas such as management policies, support and communication policies for the employees, employment standards, working conditions, different taxable benefits, opportunities of promotions etc. This overview of the policies helped me in gathering the information that the managers can work on to please their employers and reduce the turnover ratio of the company and hence improve their productivity by reducing the training costs.
The high level authorities can review the policies and can make changes to their policies with legal formalities. This will not only satisfy their employers but will also make the working environment more healthy and friendly. This source doesn’t provide the feedback of Tim Hortons’ employees. This implicates that we can’t guarantee if modifying the policies can actually make any difference and interests the employees at
