The awareness that the abuse of substances may affect the workplace just as the workplace may affect substance abuse is, however, increasing in acceptance. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA), highlight that of all drug users, 68.9% are employed and active in the workplace. Many areas of the workplace today need alertness, and accurate and quick reflexes. A deficiency to these qualities can cause critical hazard, and hamper the correctness and competence of work.
