Strongyloides stercoralis is the nematode parasite (round worm) , found in north America , Montreal ,Chicago and the various area in the world.
The worm length is 2mm and cusses Strongyloidesis disease .The parasite have tow complex life cycle , free life cycle in the soil (without host) and parasite infection inside the host .
The worm capable to causes the autoinfection and reproduction within the host . larva found in the stool from intestine , adult worm free livening .
The parasite male and female reproduction and produce fertilized embryonated egg , then the embryonated ova hatch to larva and develop to filarifom .
The infective stage is the filarifom larva , the worm penetrate the skin to make infection and the filarifom enter the in the blood and transfer to lung then (alveoli …show more content…
when the larva move to lung the patient developing the dry cough and tracheal irritation . after that larva move to gastrointestinal and causes the abdominal pain, , constipation and diarrhea .
Chronic strongyloidiasis : epigastria pain , heartburn and mucosal ulceration
Other symptoms for acutance urticarial rash along the buttocks, chronic urticarial and perineum.
Eggs : is transparent , oval and thin shelled length 5-60μm*3035μm . Eggs mature into rhabditiform larvae on the intestine .there is Two types of larvae :rhabditiform and filariform larvae.
Rhabditiform larva developed direct from gravid females and are found in the lumen of the bowel , filariform larvae infective parasite which are skin penetrated . Conclusion :
