Besides putting emphasis on the significance of learning and having an openness to change, there are five main roles the teacher has in facilitating effective learning: 1) To set a positive environment for learning, 2) to clarifying the purpose of the learning, 3) to organize and make available learning resources, 4) to balance intellectual and emotional components of learning, and 5) to share outlooks and feelings with the learners without an overbearing attitude (Lisko & O'Dell, 2010).
