Strive to Survive Everyday on the news you hear about people committing suicide. In 2014, 42,773 suicides were committed in the United States. Humans that commit suicide don’t think about what they’re doing, they just continue doing it. Most humans commit suicide because of depression. Humans can survive through depression, all they need is somebody to communicate with. Since humans will always strive to survive, no matter what the circumstances are; then why are humans committing suicide? Humans are committing suicide because they are going through a lot of stress and other things like pain, loneliness, rejection, abuse, deep sadness, guilt, depression, helplessness, fear etc. They think they can’t handle it anymore, so they just end their …show more content…
Most of the humans that don’t succeed make poor choices in life. Kevin Geary states, “...the majority that fail simply make poor choices or have a poor outlook.” What poor choices that people simply make? Suicide, that’s the first thought that pops up in people 's heads. “Most often, suicide thoughts are the result of feeling like you can’t cope when you’re faced with what seems to be an overwhelming life situation. If you don’t have hope for the future, you may mistakenly think suicide is a solution.” If they don’t succeed in more than one thing, they think they can’t succeed in anything else, and they think it’s the end of the world. Humans are committing suicide because they are going through a lot of stress and other things like pain, loneliness, rejection, abuse, deep sadness, guilt, depression, helplessness, etc. They think they can’t handle it anymore, so they just end their life. Humans can survive through depression, all they need is somebody to communicate with. Suicide is not the key but people still do no matter how much you talk to them or try to help them.
This is very important because not everybody understand that people can’t strive to survive no matter what the circumstance is. This help people understand that people commit suicide for things that they can get over. Reading this will have them help somebody that’s going through one of these problem in life. There’s a future for every last person in this world and suicide is not the key. Help humans in this world to strive to survive in any
