The ruling from the court means that the government does not have any restrictions to change or revise the second amendment to the way he or she want it to be. The government can apply many restrictions on firearm or peoples' rights to bear arms. Michael Monuteaux, an epidemiologist and a professor, pediatrics at Harvard Medical school states that, “we found no support for the hypothesis that owning more guns leads to a drop or reduction in violent crime” (Live Science). So, are the government trying to reduce crime by creating gun laws? Creating gun laws are not decreasing the crime rate. If the government decided to enforce extreme gun control laws it would make citizens angry. It would also make citizens rebel against it, but if there are no gun control it would cause problems amongst the world. There is only one solution to fix this problem in the United States; whereas, the government need to moderate gun control so that it would help decrease crime rates and help keep people safe. On the other hand, a lot of this is being practiced in today's society, this the only way of keeping track of people who have purchased weapons. The main purpose is to know who is the owner of a firearm for paper trail purposes. So, by keeping a count of who owns a firearm will possibly make matters a little better.
