Dr. Madan Kataria from India began the practice of laughter yoga. Yoga is a system or set of breathing exercises and postures. Now laughter yoga is a lot different by practicing to gather in a group and pretend to laugh. This is carried on for 15 to 20 minutes. The point of this exercise is for the breathing patterns shift to a slower and deeper movement that is related to relaxation. There is two types of stress, eustress and distress. Eustress is positive stress. Eustress prompts you to do what needs to be solved, accomplished or decided. Distress is negative stress. Distress is often related to the "out of your control" issues. I do believe that depending on your cultural background you have different types of stress. For example, Person A’s cultural background consist of maintaining a garden because it’s what they do for a living but Person B’s cultural background consist of a hobby to maintain a garden. Person A has distress and Person B has eustress. In my case, I find school assignments eustress but house work distress and it’s probably because it’s a lot of
