We are sometimes mistaken as an extrovert because of our genuine concern for other, but we are true introverts that are tied intimately to a select few (“Jung Typology Test”, 2016). I love my personal time as well as working alone. Being content with working alone as oppose to working with others is not always a good thing, especially in the workplace and sometimes school. I prefer to work alone as I feel I get more work done this way. Although I like to work alone, I have learned over the years to work well with others. There should be mutual accountability in the workplace. Mutual accountability holds everyone accountable for their actions. This can produce a healthy organization (Kahlib Fischer, PhD., 2012). Being an introvert in the workplace also can hinder how well my job is done. It is hard being an introvert when having to work with the public. I am very reserved, but when talking with customers or clients I have learned to handle myself
