Internet, as one of the most significant parts of today’s life, has surely brought us great benefits as well as side effects. Some people argue the disadvantages of it, contending that the negative information diffused across the internet will be destructive for users. Yet, as far as I am concerned, the strengths of it outstrips the weaknesses.

First, internet brings great convenience to us. Back in decades ago, letter was the one and only way to connect people afar, and it would usually take days or even a month to deliver, consuming a larger amount of time compared that of internet, which takes only a second to get message sent. Only if we learn how to use it wisely, can we make a full use of the internet.

Tons of various information are out there, and the internet makes all those knowledges within our reach. Thanks to the internet, we have the chance to know what was happening outside our little world and broaden our horizons. Taken the latest Victoria Secret Show for instance, the show can be presented to us through the social media platforms, and we need not to come all the way to actually be in the spot to enjoy the show, so do other amazing events, all can be shown on the internet.

Last but no least, the internet provides abundant educational resources. Many academic sites are offered for free and learners don’t have the necessity to buy expensive paper books. Furthermore, there are quite a few online open courses and lectures, people in all works of life can get free courses on it whenever they feel like to, which gives a great opportunity for those who don’t have time or money to go to
