There are some cottages by the beach with their owners standing by them. They were preparing for a big storm. They know of the storm because a magic ring had told them that the storm was coming. It was 1980 in the South Atlantic Ocean, there was a storm that had been growing for 6 hours. A medical researcher named James Smith and his crew of 7 were out on the ocean that day transporting a herd of elephants. The elephants were going crazy destroying almost everything they could and some were killing themselves by walking off cliffs or drowning in water. James was taking them to America to have tests done on them. The storm by now has been growing for 7 hours and is now in sight of James and his crew. “Put the ring on your finger, for it to work, you just have to think and believe.” James was trying but he could not fly. The leader said you have to BELIEVE not just think it will work. (But the leader know once he got to America the ring would stop working because everybody has to believe.) James tried and it worked, so he went looking for the elephants in the jungle. Once James located the elephants he used the magic of the ring to pick them up. James showed the elephants to the leader then took them to America. Once near America though the ring stopped working. This happened because if everybody doesn’t believe the ring loses its magic.
So, once the ring stopped working James and the elephants fell into the ocean. James figured that they were at least still ten miles from shore. Once they hit the water and elephants didn’t go crazy like they were doing before. James started to swim and some elephants started but they were to heavy and started to sink. By the time James reached shore all the elephants had drown. When James got to shore he just sat there thinking. His thoughts were that the elephants went crazy because the air pressure from the storm, the elephants could feel the storm coming and that is why they went
