Once upon a time in Germany a woman named Elizabeth was waiting for her husband to come home from a very long trip. All of a sudden she heard an unexpected thump outside her door. She hesitantly opened it. There stood a man with blonde slicked back hair.
“Guten tag!” he said.
“H-hello, hi. How are you? the woman replied stuttering. Can I help you?” She started shivering with no end as she felt the snowy breeze against her bare arms.
“May I come inside? I am hungry and cold and my robe is worn. I need something to eat.”
“Well, my husband isn’t home and I have nothing to give.” She replied.
“Please. I can supply us with food at least, I guess.”
“You can supply us both with food? In that case make yourself comfortable.” The woman

That is the only reason she let him into her humble home. He was silent. As she walked to the wooden and cracked cupboard she asked what his name was.
“Ludwig. My name is Ludwig.” he replied.
She saw a metal pot in the cupboard. She took it one hand on the handle and another supporting the cold bottom. Ludwig, who was waiting patiently on a wooden chair, was starting the fire as she approached him nervously handing him the heavy pot.
“Thank you.” He replied. His face was blank. He seemed to show no emotion whatsoever as if he meant nothing he said at all. He hung it on a metal hook placed on a brick wall above the fire. He dropped the stone in the already boiling water. She was disturbed. She asked him why he would ever put a stone in boiling water. Is this a joke? I this some kind of… What are you planning? She thought.
He said nothing accept for “just wait”. That made her grow even more frustrated but she waited. He asked for carrots, potatoes, and a wide variety of spices. She did what the mysterious stranger said and walked to the cabinet in disbelief. After all she didn’t own a pot, but there was one in her cabinet. She was wondering if the same thing will happen with the ingredients, she was well aware that she didn’t own these
