It has been stated that golfers are commonly seen as stuck up rich boys and girls who could care less about anything else other than themselves and the game. It has been made clear there are a few young gentlemen and women who are rather foolish there are more good quality people playing the game of golf who are very respectful and are by no mean wealthy. Furthermore it has been said that golfers are considered not to be athletes and golf not to be a sport. Once again, it was made clear that golfers go through vigorous workouts and extensive amounts of practice which makes us athletes and golf a sport. Lastly it was stated that golfers are spoiled and treated like royalty. It was finally made clear that golfers are not spoiled, but treated nicely in return for the kindness, respect and honesty we bring into the game. In the end it comes down to stereotypes and Misconceptions still being present in society, about golfers and it was of my purpose to present several stereotypes and clear them up with my personal experiences as a junior
