According to Oxford dictionary the term demographics is, "relating to the structure of populations and a particular sector of a population. If I had to define it in my own words it would be similar to the definition that they give but I would go into further detail. Demographics can consist of gender, age, income status, region, and also race. Demographics is usually meant to target certain audience for several things. The one that I would like to touch on is music. Demographics is used for advertisement to grab the potential buyer’s attention. It is meant to reel in more customers to attract more fans. A typical demographic for someone that listens to rap music is normally a young male between the ages of 15-30 years old. A rapper like Future
