This is evident by the fact some gamers today live more social lives than non gamers. Video games are popular enough to be consider a community or a large enough one, with worldwide tournaments for League of legends, CS:GO, Dota, Starcraft, and a few more. Gamers are tend to consider friends far more important than a non-gamer. And they tend to be way more optimistic about many things in life, not looking down on it and getting stressed about the thing.
