The owner of the Miami Dolphins is Stephen M. Ross, was born May 10, 1940, in Detroit,

Michigan. He is married to Kara Gaffney. He has four children Jennifer Ross, Kimberly Ross, Avery

(step child), drew (stepchild). He was a tax Attorney at coopers & lybrand in Detroit, in 1968. His

business was also big on real estate they had multi-million dollar contracts in multiple large cities he was

the chairman of the company and makes the deals with all of the property owners and all real estate.

He also owns Kangaroo media too. In February 2008 he bought 50% of the dolphins and then on

January 20, 2009, he purchased an additional 45%. He purchased the team for 1.1 billion dollars. He’s

owned the team for 8 years now. He has tried to get the team relocated to palm beach or somewhere

He donated 100’s of millions of dollars to the university of Michigan. They

named a program after him called Ross school of business. He is great for the franchise because he

donates a ton of money to other places he is hands on by showing his respect. He has donated the most

money to the university out of everyone. He was named the 3rd most powerful real estate agent in New

York by the New York Observer. His wife also is an entrepreneur and owns her own jewelry designer.

He also was the Multi-Family Property Executive of the Year by Commercial Property News, and

Housing Person of the Year by the National Housing Conference. Also, Crain's New York named Ross

one of the 100 Most Influential Leaders in Business.

Chris Grier is the Miami Dolphins GM. This is his first year so he hasn't been able to make any

trades or been able to move any players around yet he is still trying to get the hang of things. This is the

first, ever Gm spot he has received he used to be part of college scouting and now he is the GM. The

dolphins are 0-2 starting off the year and that isn't looking good for the rookie coach Chris Grier.
