Louie Lee Luthy and Tallulah Luthy, both of Pensacola, Florida, and by his cyberdachshund, Jacques 737.
Mr. Luthy was raised in an emotionally deprived but materially affluent home in Palo Alto, California. As a child, he struggled to identify the streets around the family home. Marian Luthy compensated for her eldest son’s geographic dyslexia by placing a cow bell around his neck and listening for his neighboring classmates to lead him home from school. As a young adult, he entered the professionally unsatisfying occupations of dishwasher, doorman, and mild-mannered insurance salesman.

At the age of 112, Mr. Luthy transferred his consciousness from its failing organic structure to a 17th generation quantum parallel processor housed in a tempered titanium shell. He downloaded his dachshund to a similar receptacle, and the cyberdog was christened Jacques 737.
Mr. Luthy relished no longer having to deal with bothersome aches and pains, but merely reporting self-diagnosed malfunctions to the local nanofactory. He joked that since he had shrunk from a height of six feet to 18.7 inches, he had developed a far more satisfying relationship with his beloved Jacques 737.
After attending telepathic night classes for a period of five years, Mr. Luthy earned his comprehensive doctoral degree in Organic Canine Psychiatry from the Keith Ablow Institute of Higher Mental Functions at Stanford University. He pioneered a well-respected treatment protocol for aberrant dog behavior based on the Inner Puppy School of canine psychoanalysis. He based much of his research on data gathered by studying Jacques 737’s memory banks, which retained the deactivated structural remnants of an emotional attachment
