One benefit we see is through its use in treating neurological disorders. According to Olle Lindcall and Zaal Kokaia stem cells can help prevent the death many type of cells such as the neurons and glial cells by creating endogenous stem cells within the nervous system. Stem cells can also help in organ transplant by allowing doctors to build organs from a patient’s own stem cell ensuring the patient’s body wont reject the need organ cutting down the wait list dramatically. Stem cells have a promising future in helping doctors to find cures or new and better ways to treat illnesses previously thought that couldn’t be treated. But before we reap the reward from stem cell research we must first overcome the hurdle they face whether that be time or
