Statement Of Purpose: A Career In The Healthcare Field

Being in the healthcare field is exciting. Knowing that there is growth potential, different skills leading to certifications and license in order to advance in the field is a plus. I am going to discuss a little bit about Healthcare Administration, as well as required certifications or credentials that might be needed. We often need to have personality traits or skills to do our job; whether the skills and traits are needed I will talk about it. I have goals set for my career, how I want to carry them out and where I see myself 5 years from now. Looking at an overview of my profession is needed to find out what it is about. There are over 300,000 people working as healthcare administrators, ranging from management to CEO positions. A combination of leadership, management and administration of public health systems is what some healthcare administrators become. Actions and polices at times affect global healthcare standards making it a must for strong communication to overcome those problems. There is a projected growth of about 17% in the years of 2014 to 2024, which makes it a high growth over other occupations. Healthcare Administrators plan, direct and coordinate medical health services and will have management over the entire facilities at time. …show more content…

Having the dedication to teach me the skills of technology the field is using in order for me to be successful in the career is something the University offers. Offering to better my communication skills, as they will be needed to inform patients in my professions about documents and regulations that the law requires.
