Starbucks is well known organisation, it has become one of the best coffee retail chain in recent years. The concept is simple to ‘ take a traditional Italian coffee house and make a retail chain out of it’ across the world. Starbucks is praised for its’ coffee, yes its coffee , but its’ variety product line is far from that one.

Every store manager is a chief at the store and has to look after all the functions and operations collectively to run the stores.

Better coordination and control: - it is very much appropriate structure to coordinate and control the functional and operational activities. Project manager has got responsibility to establish better coordination and control system in organization. Project authority flows horizontally (Sleeping line) and Functional authority flows downwards.
2. Adaptable to dynamic environment: - as employees from different functional and the have patient to achieve the organisational goals more effectively. The project managers have functional independently and they can get quickly feedback with information related with project. Along with project mange, employees from different functional area are specialists and adjustment does not become problematic.
