1. The film Star Wars IV: A New Hope does follow the criteria that the hero is called to the adventure but he at first refuses the call. When Obi-Wan Kenobi is called Luke to go to adventure with him to help princess Leia to against the empire, Luke refuses her called until he saw his uncle and aunt get kill in the farm. Luke is interested to his invite, but he’s uncle wants him to stay there to take care the farm for one more year. Luke is a good job who respect for elders. Luke is the sky walker.
2. Obi-wan Kenobi is the figure who convinces Luke to go and gives him supernatural aid. Obi-wan teach Luke to believe in the Force and become a Jedi as his father. Obi-wan encouraged to Luke, “Luke, the force is always with you and use your Force.”
3. The example of criteria he passes the threshold of home is when Luke finally decide to leave, take …show more content…
Luke passes through a series of ordeals and tests of his character is when Obi-Wan Kenobi get killed by Darth Vader in order to gain a chance to Luke to leave the death star. Luke is super sad and concern about his dead.
6. Princess Leia is the princess and queen of the Alderman. She is fearless and rebel the empire. Luke accidentally discovered that the princess Leia was held there and lures smuggler Han solo to save her with him. This is example of criteria that he rescues the mother goddess to support Joseph Campbell’s pattern of myth.
7. Luke’s father never shows up to reconcile him, but does someone show up to reconciled him in the movie. Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the best friends of his dad, and treat him as his son, lead him to the right way of Jedi. Obi-wan also give up his life to save Luke which this is something that usually father would do.
8. Luke destroys the monster which the monster is the death star battle station by one in million a shot. In the last scene of the movie, princess Leia, Luke is united with the divine. Princess Leia gave them both medals with honor and praised them in front of the
